Asia Adventure Sport Limited (AAS) Location: Hong Kong

Salary: HK$30,000 per month + performance-related bonuses
Role Purpose
The Manager – Safeguarding, Learning and Community Projects plays a central leadership role in ensuring the educational quality, safeguarding compliance, and community engagement of Asia Adventure Sport Limited. This position oversees programme development, school partnerships, safeguarding standards, and community service initiatives, ensuring that AAS delivers safe, meaningful, and high-quality learning experiences across Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Leadership & Programme Management
- Lead and manage all AAS educational programmes, ensuring high standards of curriculum design, lesson planning, learning progression, and alignment with international school expectations.
- Develop lesson plans and learning frameworks that support skill development, reflection, and transfer of learning.
- Facilitate educational outcomes through framing, frontloading/funnelling, debriefing, and reflective practice.
International School Liaison
- Act as the primary point of contact for international schools and educational partners.
- Coordinate programme bookings, scheduling, and communication with school leadership teams.
- Ensure AAS programmes meet the educational, pastoral, and operational requirements of partner schools.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships to support long-term partnerships.
Safeguarding Leadership
- Serve as the Safeguarding Lead for AAS, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong SAR regulations and international best practice.
- Maintain and update safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Deliver safeguarding training to staff and ensure safe practice across all AAS activities.
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and manage reporting processes.
Community Service & Outreach Projects
- Oversee community service initiatives and partnerships with NGOs, youth organisations, and community groups.
- Design meaningful service-learning experiences that integrate reflection, social impact, and personal development.
- Coordinate logistics, risk management, and programme delivery for community projects.
Professional Conduct & Communication
- Maintain open, respectful communication with AAS staff, clients, teachers, school leaders, and the public.
- Provide pastoral care to participants and support staff welfare when appropriate.
- Give and receive professional feedback to support continuous improvement.
Performance-Related Bonus Scheme
- The role includes eligibility for performance-related bonuses: HK$5,000 bonus for each school agreement or community partnership valued at HK$50,000 or above.
- Agreements must be formally signed and invoiced.
- Bonus is paid following client payment.
- Bonus approval is subject to verification of contract value, scope, and the Employee’s substantial contribution.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Outdoor Education, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in safeguarding leadership or compliance roles.
- Background in experiential learning, outdoor education, or international school environments.
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience coordinating community service or outreach programmes is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Work takes place across various locations in Hong Kong.
- Hours vary according to programme schedules and partnership needs.
- Weekend or evening work may be required depending on programme delivery.
- Travel within Hong Kong is expected.
