We are looking for full-time or part-time Outdoor Educators specialize in Environmental Justice & Sustainability. They will be guiding and instructing students and groups in outdoor adventure activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Incorporate principles into group leadership that ensure equal access to activities and build inclusive outdoor spaces, while also adapting programs when necessary so participants of all backgrounds can thrive.
- Practice active environmental care on trips, such as teaching kids Leave No Trace rules (packing out all trash, staying on trails) and explaining why protecting local natural resources matters.
- Guide participants in simple community-focused nature discussions during framing and debriefs, connecting outdoor activities like kayaking or walks to local ecosystems and plant life.
